From My Kitchen to Yours
Cooking and creating in the kitchen has been a passion for me since I met my amazing husband 25 years ago, and even more so when I became a mom. There's something so powerful about knowing where our food comes from and learning how to preserve it and cook it to keep us strong and healthy. Back in 2022 during a gym session with my bestie and our wonderful personal trainer, we were chatting about a bunch of health hacks, which was a normal morning scenario for us. The idea of an alternative beverage to coffee or tea came up and I instantly said, “I can make that” and so it began. After 14 test batches, lots of encouragement from friends, and plenty of fine-tuning and tweaks here and there, then TaDa! We finally arrived at a product I was proud to share with the world. It’s been a wild, exciting journey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce you to our line of organic, small-batch creations. Everything we make is crafted with love and care, using only 100% organic ingredients to ensure the highest quality. We are so happy to launch and share Monster's Mud with you.
Monster's Rub, Monster's Tea & Monster’s Soak: The Next Chapter
Monter’s Rub arrived in the bowl just before Easter 2023. I wanted to cook a ham and wanted a combination of Smokey and Sweet. The Original is made with this amazing dark molasses brown sugar. The colour of the mix is so gorgeous! I’ve always loved using maple syrup as an alternative to sugar when baking or making sauces or dressings so was thrilled to discover this powdered maple sugar for the Maple Rub. Of course, some of you out there are trying to manage sugar intake, I know, it’s tricky, but I
have you covered! There is a Monk fruit Rub as well as the fabulous whole food - mineral rich Date sugar Rub too!!
Monster’s Tea steeped for a while in my brain. I’m always trying to take in at least 2 litres of water a day. Having a big pot of herbal tea is a brilliant way to do this. This blend is delicious hot, cold and any temperature in between. It’s refreshing, juicy, calming and quite pretty really! I set a pot to steep in the morning when I make my coffee and then I sip it all through the day. I’m working on a few other blends to add to the offerings.
Monster’s Soak—because everyone loves a relaxing bath, right? There are plenty of soaks out there, this one is designed to calm, soothe, and fill your space with fragrance. I love the reusable bag so you don’t have to clean your tub, or call your plumber after you have your relaxing soak!
I know, it's quite an eclectic offering. I'm just rolling with it and am working on a few other tasty categories so stay tuned!
A Passion, A Purpose, A Promise
The idea of bringing these creation's to market is quite overwhelming for me. So much so that every time I would consider the process of packaging, marketing, website stuff… I end up back in the kitchen lab creating another product instead! When in the lab, I’m reminded of why I started this journey in the first place: to bring joy, health, and quality to the people I care about.
